Maintenance Technician

Helgesen Industries is a leading provider of hydraulic fluid conditioning devices for a diverse number of industries including: agriculture, construction, firefighting, energy, mining, defense, forestry, material handling, on-highway mobile, and railway. We are looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to perform installation, repair and maintenance on production machines and equipment such as press brakes, punch presses, welders, lasers, resonators, hoists, trolley systems, and other equipment related to production, and plant use.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications

  • Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections

  • Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements

  • Repairs or replaces defective parts

  • Installs special functional and structural parts in devices

  • Maintains, lubricates and cleans parts

  • Assembles and test operates machine to verify correction of malfunction

  • Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts

  • Performs preventive maintenance for equipment, machinery, tools, or buildings

  • Root cause and final fix of faulty electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment

  • Initiates request to order parts and machines

  • Other duties as may be assigned

Qualification Requirements: ?

  • Minimum of two years previous maintenance technician experience and/or related educational degree/certificates.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
