Machining Manufacturing Manager

Our client needs a Manufacturing Manager who will lead this 85 person machining operation and its 4 supervisors under the direction of the Chief Operations Officer. You will direct the overall operations ensuring the achievement of production objectives at the lowest cost consistent with the company quality standards and customer delivery requirements. The plant is commutable from Milwaukee, Fond du Lac and Beaver Dam. This is a dynamic operation that offers career growth and rewarding challenges.
Requirements:
1. 5+ years of people management experience in a machining operation.
2. You must be well versed with both single and multi-axis machining centers
3. You must be able to spec out new pieces of machining equipment for work the company is bidding on
4. You must have strong communication, leadership and operations skills
5. The greater your experience with methods of continuous improvement the more you will get the client's attention
6. The greater your academic accomplishments the better

Duties:
1. Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments and directly supervise the plant staff to ensure the achievement of production objectives at the lowest cost consistent with company quality requirements.
2. Evaluate, recommend and implement improvements in methods and processes to increase productivity and quality.
3. Develop plans for the maximum utilization of materials, machines and employees.
4. Ensure proper maintenance for equipment and facility in conjunction with the 5S program. Ensure timely maintenance is performed and proper records are maintained
5. Develop and recommend plant capital and operating budgets.
6. Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees.
7. Work to continuously improve in all areas such as safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations.
8. Assess employee performance, provide frequent constructive feedback to employees, and conduct performance reviews. Implement corrective and disciplinary action as warranted.
9. Identify and implement necessary personnel coaching, training and development to upgrade and maintain employee skill levels to keep pace with current and future company requirements.
10. Maintain effective communications with other Manufacturing Managers to optimize production and process improvement activity.

The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including a bonus of 5 to 10 percent and quarterly profit sharing 7 to 10 percent. Relocation help is not available. Sorry, no visa assistance is available.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
