As a sales associate, you will be responsible for showing product, demonstrating customizable options, organizing and decorating the showroom, completing sales paperwork, and scheduling deliveries.
Current sales staff average $18-25 per hour.
Pay is an hourly rate
commission.
Uncapped earning potential.
Set Schedule with Flexible hours (20-30 hour position).
Alternating Friday and Saturday shift (No working every Saturday).
Closed on Sundays.
Employee discount on furniture and bedding.
Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases.
Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, cleaning and arranging merchandise displays Stay up-to-date on product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers Ability to complete paperwork and schedule deliveries.
Qualifications Prior sales experience preferred, not required.
Paid Training period.
Outgoing personality.
Comfortable working with computers and tablets.
Organizational skills to follow up with customer inquiries.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to occasionally lift items to perform floor moves and decorating.
Comfortable helping customers make design decisions.
